On the 19th January of 2018, Solar Turbine Company and Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (VSP) held a seminar to review of implementing the joint agreement on maintenance and repair of all gas turbine engine and equipment (LTSA) for oil & gas projects of VSP.
Attending the seminar, from Solar Turbine Company side, there were Mr. Mick Cunnane – District Service Manager, Mr. Juangti Wan-Leong – Regional Area Sales Manager, Mr. Dion Walz – Overhaul Business Manager, and other leaders from Solar’s specialized departments. From VSP side, there were Mr. Tran Van Vinh – Deputy General Director, Mr. Tran Cong Tin – Manager of Commercial Department, and other leaders from VSP’s specialized departments.
On behalf of Solar Turbine Company, Mr. Mick Cunnane presented the report for results of implementing the LTSA agreement between Solar and VSP in 2017. In general, the LTSA have brought many outstanding benefits for VSP in optimizing cost and providing the most efficient solution for technical in maintenance and repair of gas turbine engine and equipment. However, Mr. Mick Cunnane also proposed some remaining problems that needs both parties to solve together in order to achieve better result in 2018.
Speaking at the seminar, the Deputy General Director of VSP – Mr. Tran Van Vinh, would like to thank Solar and Solar’s experts for cooperating and working closely with VSP’s experts, successfully accomplishing VSP’s projects throughout the year. Mr. Tran Van Vinh also emphasized that Solar needs to consider better price for VSP in 2018 and revise some terms and conditions in the LTSA agreement so that both parties can have greater benefits in commercial and technical.
Solar commits to fully implement the comments from the leaders of VSP and will cooperate closely with VSP’s team to solve remaining problems so that the agreement is increasingly successful for VSP.
